I was given a brand guidelines package with block shapes and specific colour palettes already selected. I wanted to try playing with the sizing and placement for a playful, welcoming feeling! In the end, the client opted for a more solid colour scheme.

Layout Mockups
I sent various page mockup iterations with different colour palettes for feedback. Originally the client wanted to focus on yellow and green colours, but in the end they opted for blue. As page space was limited, I used the longest book titles and blurbs to gage whether or not content would fit on the page, which minimized errors and revisions further down the pipeline.
